Twelfth Night, or What You Will is one of William Shakespeare’s most musically-rich plays. Characters break into song, and their dialogue frequently references many popular tunes of the day. The Bard’s audience would have known these songs well, and “got the jokes.” The TTU Mainstage Theater’s production of Twelfth Night, May 1 through 4, will be punctuated with live music provided by the actors and by members of the Texas Tech Early Collegium Musicum on historical instruments.
